Having successfully managed to invent a football game off a reddit post, and a baseball-cricket-pesäpallo hybrid that's been in my head for years....the next and maybe last holy grail of game development in my head is building a college tennis simulator.

The premise is that all tennis management games operate only within the individual sport -- tournaments, circuits and such alike. This game would simulate the pre-professional lane, simulating juniors and high school tennis and your job would be as the college coach to recruit kids to your program, build lineups and win matches, swoon donors to invest in your program, avoid unethical behavior, and keep your own players from leaving via the transfer portal or going pro.

I'm still sketching out what'll happen, but a lot of the core infrastructure is already built between the Viperball and Super Innings backends, so what I'm building will need work but nothing as much as starting from scratch especially on the international parts, since I built an entire world name backend for the baseball game for no reason at all other than I wanted it.

There have been a bevy of updates to the baseball game since my last post -- hell, I named it! -- but a college tennis management sim unlike the other two games might be the first one where I'll build it for actual end-user playable versus just a toy for myself.
